The third studio album Mezzanine by Massive Attack, a trip hop group from Bristol, England was the Number One Album in Australia in 1998.

Although a departure from sound of their first two albums – Blue Lines and ProtectionMezzanine is another of their longplayers that stands the test of time.

The song “Man Next Door” was originally recorded in 1968 by John Holt & his group The Paragons.

It has also been covered by other artists including Dennis Brown and UB40; and was released as a single in 1980 by The Slits and reached number 5 on the UK Indie Chart, staying on the chart for 13 weeks.
